Established circa 1920 by William John Kruse and Clara Putzge Kruse in Kekaha, Kauai, and moved to Waimea Plantation Cottage in September 2002, The Kruse House is the newest addition to the Waimea Plantation Cottage.

It is a two-story, five bedroom fully air-conditioned home each room with a private bathroom. The unique feature of this specialty house is each bedroom features a private entrance that can be secured for additional privacy. Many corporate retreats use this home for their meetings and gatherings because of the privacy it offers their guests when they need to retire.

The first floor living space includes; Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen with Breakfast area, Garden Patio, Three bedrooms with bathrooms. Right outside the door near the patio is a private hammock for relaxing with a good book amidst the gardens that surround this cottage.

The second floors features, a Master Suite with bathroom, seating room with kitchenette. There are an additional two twin bedrooms with two bathrooms that have a panoramic view of the coconut grove and ocean.
