DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
1-4 Bedroom Cottages:
Credit card deposit for 2 nights required at booking.
For 1 night stay, only 1 night deposit required at booking.
Cancellation must be received 3 days prior to arrival or 30 days
prior to arrival on 12/23/10 thru 1/1/11. Deposits may be made
with the following major credit cards (American Express,
MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, Japan Credit
Bureau (JCB), and Discover Card). Deposits will be charged
immediately. Reservations without advance deposits are subject
to automatic cancellation without notice.
3 Bedroom Oceanfront, 4 Bedroom Oceanfront, Kruse House, Managers House:
Deposit for 2 nights required at booking.
Deposit may be forfeited if cancellation is not received at 60 days prior to arrival day. Full payment is due on 60 days prior to arrival. Deposits may be made with the following major credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, Japan Credit Bureau (JCB), and Discover Card). Deposits will be charged immediately. Reservations without advance deposits are subject to automatic cancellation without notice.
Kauai Harbor House:
Deposit for 2 nights required at booking.
Deposit may be forfeited if cancellation is not received at 30 days prior to arrival day. Full payment is due on 60 days prior to arrival. Deposits may be made with the following major credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, Japan Credit Bureau (JCB), and Discover Card). Deposits will be charged immediately. Reservations without advance deposits are subject to automatic cancellation without notice.
Hanalei Faye Estate, Hanalei Faye Cottage, Hanalei Faye House:
Deposit for 2 nights required at booking.
Deposit may be forfeited if cancellation is not received at 6 months prior to arrival day. Full payment is due on required 60 days prior to arrival. Deposits may be made with the following major credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, Japan Credit Bureau (JCB), and Discover Card). Deposits will be charged immediately. Reservations without advance deposits are subject to automatic cancellation without notice.
FAMILY PLAN:
Aston Hotels & Resorts properties accept children 17 years and younger at no additional charge if they occupy existing beds in the room with their parents. Add $30 daily for rollaway (may not be available at some properties). Cribs are available at most properties.
TAXES:
All listed rates are subject to 12.416% taxes. Hawaii General
Excise Tax and Transient Accommodation Tax are computed
as follows: Hawaii General Excise Tax 4.166%, Transient
Accommodation Tax 8.250%. Effective from 7/1/10 - Add 13.4166% to daily room rates.

PET POLICY:
Aston Hotels & Resorts has a No Pets policy. However, the following is specific ADA information addressed under the American with Disabilities Act Law: With regard to service animals like seeing eye or hearing ear dogs, a public accommodation including hotels, restaurants, stores, etc., must permit individuals with disabilities to use service animals in its facilities unless to do so would fundamentally alter the nature of the goods or services provided or would affect safe operations. Only in very rare circumstances could a public accommodation refuse to permit use of a service animal. Most sanitation codes require a hotel guest room to be sanitized after being occupied by an animal. The cost of this sanitizing procedure cannot be charged to the disabled guest. A public accommodation however, is not required to supervise or care for a service animal.
